Top Cat
"Tucked away in Omaha's Little Italy is Orsi's, a bakery and pizzeria on the corner of 7th and Pacific. The shop is small and thus the pizza is carryout only. You'll find a deli counter with various meats and cheeses on your left and a rack of baked goods on your right. There are a couple of benches near the entry where you can sit and look at some old photographs while you wait for your pizza. We ordered a quarter sheet pizza and six slices of garlic cheese bread. The garlic bread was fine (no complaints, but nothing special), but the pizza was really good. The pizza is rectangular, not round, and the quarter sheet was about 10 x 13. Together with the garlic bread, it was more than enough to satisfy two appetites. The crust is thicker than you'll find at other local shops like La Casa or Zio's. A heavy layer of cheese covered the pepperoni and crumbled bits of sausage. I really enjoyed the seasoning. All in all, Orsi's puts out a unique, delicious pie that is worth checking out."
